Iran-Message of Maryam Rajavi to the British Parliament&report on Conference in the UK House of Commons30 June 2016

On the declaration by the majority of UK’s elected representatives in support of the Iranian Resistance
The initiative by the majority of United Kingdom’s elected representatives in support of the Iranian Resistance for freedom and democracy is a commendable step towards the adoption of a responsible policy vis-a-vis the Iranian regime and the entire Middle East. In light of the Iranian regime's nefarious role in the crisis in the region, this initiative has also addressed the interests of the people of the region, the people of Europe and the world, in general.
On behalf of the Iranian people and Resistance, I would like to appreciate your efforts in support of the Iranian people's freedom and human rights as well as your support for the safety and security of the freedom fighters in Camp Liberty.
Also let me congratulate you for officially registering the British Parliamentary Committee for Iran Freedom in the British Parliament. There is no doubt this has been a great achievement and a result of all your tireless efforts and the enduring support by the honorable elected members of the UK parliament for Iranian resistance movement throughout many years.

futureless status of mullahs’ regime & indispensable defeat of investing in such a state

The Iranian Resistance strongly condemns the visits to Paris and The Hague made by Mohammad Javad Zarif, the foreign minister of the religious fascism ruling Iran, describing it as against human rights, democracy and peace in Iran and the entire Middle East. The report card of the government that Zarif represents speaks for itself:

- At least 2,400 executions under the tenure of the regime’s President Hassan Rouhani – The U.N. Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in Iran in his latest report said around 1,000 people were executed in 2015, resembling the highest figure in the past 25 years.

- Juvenile executions – According to the U.N. Special Rapporteur the execution of juveniles in 2014-2015 reached the highest rate in the past five years.
- Increasing crackdown and detention of writers, reporters and artists.

Iran- A chain of Mothers of Murdered Iranian Dissident

The Letter of Sholeh Pakravan
The flame of resistance and struggle in the freedom movement has always been alive and it continues to burn in the face of Iran’s stifling dictatorship that holds the world’s record in executions.
Alongside the freedom fighters, there have always been young men and women who brave the obstacles and sacrifice their own lives in responding to the call of the movement.  Each of them shines like a star, piercing through the dark night of oppression and heralding the dawn.
Following in their footsteps with love and compassion, are their mothers, sisters, and relatives who deeply believe that their loved ones did not die in vain and need to continue their path until final fruition.
Certainly, the gushing pain and anger of mothers join together and become a devastating flood that will wash away the filth of the mullahs' religious dictatorship from Iran.

Iran: Anniversary of Neda Agha-Soltan, symbol of the 2009 uprising 21 June 2016

Ms. Hajar Rostami commemorated her daughter on June 19, 2016, at her tomb while accompanied by a number of other bereaved mothers and relatives of those slain in the 2009 uprising.
Neda Agha Soltan was one of the thousands who were killed during the 2009 uprising. She was shot dead in Tehran’s Amir Abad district on June 20, 2009. A short film taken by a mobile phone and posted on the internet which showed her last moments, dying with her eyes open shocked the world and opened their eyes to the Iranian people's deep-rooted opposition to the ruling regime. Thus Neda became the symbol of the 2009 uprising.
