Iran-Message on the New Iranian Year,Maryam Rajavi: Nowrouz celebrates the certainty of the coming of spring, liberty and joy

Fellow compatriots,
Honorable mothers and fathers,
My dear sisters and brothers,
Passionate and energetic youths of Iran who want everything new,
Valiant women and men in political prisons who embrace Nowrouz even in captivity,
Champions of freedom in Camp Liberty who are the messengers of spring and Nowrouz for Iran,
Fellow exiled Iranians all across the world, who take your beautiful homeland, Iran, into your homes and to your families with Nowrouz and by setting up the Haft-Seen arrangement,
Happy New Year!

I congratulate you on the advent of spring and the great feast of Nowrouz.
May the jubilance and prosperity of Nowrouz embrace all the cities and villages across our country and all the moments of your days and lives!
May it overthrow the turbaned ruling beasts!
As Zoroaster said:
May bad manners fail, May good manners succeed,
May lies fail and be conquered by truth.

My dear countrymen and women,
Although our new day and happiness have been stolen, but they are your rights.
Freedom, well-being and security are your rights.
Human rights, free elections, separation of religion and state are your rights.
Striving for a just life, a country without executions and torture, and rising up for bringing down the religious tyranny are your rights.
These rights must be restituted and the usurpers and oppressors overthrown.
On this path, all of us share the same spirit and are parts of the same body.
As Massoud Rajavi says, "Anyone who wishes to see the religious tyranny overthrown and anyone who desires freedom and popular sovereignty in a republic and the people's vote, is with us and we are with him."

Hail to your steadfastness and fortitude that ruined and closed down the sites of the mullahs' nuclear weapons project last year.
Now is the turn to destroy the bases of the Revolutionary Guards Corps, their unjust courts and their torture chambers.
Khamenei wished to bring out his regime from the pit of the nuclear retreat but he ended up pushing the entire regime down the well of its sham elections.
He wanted to find a breathing space for the regime in Yemen and Syria.
But the Iranian regime was defeated in Yemen and suffered the loss of its most important commanders in Syria.
The regime became so weak that the mullahs appealed for Russia's interference.
Russia's intervention, however, did not last long despite massive bombardments and massacres, and the Iranian regime has now lost its backing.
And finally, the mullahs sought to annihilate pioneers of the Iranian nation's Resistance movement by launching rocket attacks on Camp Liberty and massacring members of the PMOI;
However, the people of Iran embraced the PMOI more than ever before with great love.
Let us remember Nayyereh Rabii and Hossein Abrishamchi and 22 other heroes who sacrificed their lives for Iran's spring of freedom.
For the people of Iran, Nowrouz celebrates the certainty of the coming of spring, liberty and joy.
Every Nowrouz, Iranians celebrate an auspicious destiny that they believe will definitely come.
To realize that day, we must start our preparations today:
The mullahs' mission is killing hope.  But we must revive hope by selfless sacrifice, love, and trusting our fellow countrymen.
The mullahs seek to eliminate national solidarity. So, all nationals of Iran must reinforce their bonds of friendship more than ever.
Our Iran is an amazingly beautiful garden with freedom and popular sovereignty.
Baluchies and Kurds, Arabs and Lors, Bakhtiaries and Turkomans, Azeries and followers of various ethnic groups and faiths are the colorful, lovely flowers of Iran's garden.
And the day when Iran becomes the garden of freedom and justice is definitely on the way.
To workers, teachers, and nurses and to you, the freedom-loving women, mothers and fathers who have risen up to protest in front of Evin Prison, I say that it is you who will bring Nowrouz to our land.
You, who resist in prisons. Prisoners who held the Feast of Fire in Gohardasht Prison with ever-louder chants of: "Set fire to and burn the principle of Velayat-e Faqih."
You who help the poor and promote peace, and spread purity, trust, and friendship.
Yes, you are the ones who will bring Nowrouz.
The spring of freedom will be realized by your determination.
Wish you a hundred years better than these years.
Congratulations to all of you, on the auspicious spring, victorious Nowrouz, and beginning of the new Iranian year 1395!

Fire Festival held in Gohardasht prison of Karaj with slogan of “set fire to principle of velayat”

On Tuesday, March 15, Iranian people, especially the youth, widely held the national festivity of Fire Festival in various districts of Tehran and in other cities face to face with the ominous clerical regime.

The Fire Festival was held despite the fact that officials from both factions of the ruling clique strongly warned people through all means of communication not to hold this ceremony and made every attempt to turn this festivity that has become a symbol of protest against the medieval rule of mullahs into an apolitical ceremony.

Iran-Message of Maryam Rajavi to Conference at the United States Senate 09 March 2016-“Human Rights and Democracy in Iran”

Distinguished speakers,
Honorable lawmakers,
Dear friends,
As we speak, Iranians across the world are preparing for the arrival of Nowruz, which marks the beginning of spring and the new Iranian year.
Nowruz tradition which is a symbol of change, has been celebrated for thousands of years. It symbolizes the end of the gloomy days of winter being replaced with the bright days of spring.
The arrival of the Nowruz and spring for the Iranian people carries this simple but vital message: the spring of freedom is also inevitable. It might be postponed but cannot be stopped.
Nowruz for the Iranian people is a symbol of hope and far more, it heralds the end of theocratic regime and establishment of freedom and democracy.
Our oppressed people truly deserve a new life and a society based on democracy and human rights.
A couple of weeks ago, the mullahs held a so-called election.
But that was a sham, where all candidates had to prove their loyalty to the ruling theocracy.
The election sham was nothing more than a competition between two groups of regime officials in charge of torture, execution and export of terrorism.

A number of Khamenei’s representatives, the current Minister of Intelligence and three former Intelligence Ministers, all of whom have been responsible for mass murder and assassinations abroad, were among the candidates endorsed by the so-called moderate faction.
This is what moderate mullahs are all about.
The role of Hashemi Rafsanjani, one of the pillars of this faction, in directing terrorist attacks in 1990s in Argentina, Paris, Vienna, Berlin, Rome, Geneva and Istanbul is common knowledge.
Recently, the head of the regime’s Human Rights Council explained that most of the executions are carried out based on a law ratified by a Council chaired by Rafsanjani.
As for Hassan Rouhani, I should recall that in addition to 2,300 executions during his tenure, two deadly assaults were carried out against Camps Ashraf and Liberty.
He is the head of the Supreme National Security Council and no such attacks could be launched without the Council’s approval.
During his term, the mullahs’ interference in Syria has dramatically expanded.
Recently, Rouhani gave a medal of honor to his Defense Minister for improving the regime’s ballistic missile system.
That minister, Hossein Dehghan, was one of the commanders who masterminded the 1983-bombing of the U.S. Marine barracks in Beirut from behind the scenes.
Why do the mullahs need absolute crackdown at home and terrorism and warmongering abroad so much?
Because democracy in Iran and stability and peace in the region is their noose.
For this reason, the mullahs’ regime is the main source of instability in the entire region and the destructive war in Syria and the massacre of the Syrian people.
The regime has currently 60,000 Revolutionary Guards and agents in Syria.
In reality, the presence of the Revolutionary Guards and paramilitary groups affiliated with the Qods Force in Syria and Iraq is the main cause for the rise and expansion of DAESH.
The Revolutionary Guards and their agents are eliminating the moderate opposition in both countries.
The Iranian regime is not an ally for the international community against DAESH, on the contrary it is in an overt and covert coexistence with DAESH.
For this reason, it would be impossible to confront the danger posed by DAESH unless and until the mullahs’ forces are driven out of Syria and Iraq.
I take this opportunity to express my gratitude for the firm policy of the U.S. lawmakers against fundamentalist regime in Iran and commend the bipartisan friendship and support of lawmakers to my oppressed fellow country men and women in Iran and for their steadfast solidarity with the residents of Camp Liberty.
Despite their deception, the ruling mullahs do not have the will nor the capacity to change their brutal conduct.
For this reason, human rights in Iran continue to be violated and Camp Liberty remains at risk.
Expanding your valuable support for the Iranian people’s struggle for freedom will be more impactful than ever before.
As we celebrate Nowruz, I wish all of you and the great nation of America every success.
Thank you very much

Maryam Rajavi- Women's Role in War against Fundamentalism

Text of  Speech of Maryam Rajavi - Conference in the European ParliamentBrussels – 2 March 2016

Maryam Rajavi speaks in Women's Role in War against Fundamentalism conference Conference in the European Parliament

Extremism under the banner of Islam is a fatal epidemic expanding throughout the world because it has not been confronted.
To defeat this epidemic, a comprehensive approach is vital.
Since the 1990s we have been warning that Islamic fundamentalism is the new global threat.
Today, there is a real concern about Daesh, but it should be noted that its expansion is a product of two developments in the region:
1. The Iranian regime's occupation of Iraq after the war in 2003 and the brutal crackdown on Sunnis by the mullahs' puppet government in Iraq.
2. Suppression of Syrian people and dissidents by Bashar Assad's government, backed and led by the mullahs' regime.
3. Therefore, if it was not for the Iranian regime's domination over Iraq and Syria,if the Sunnis were not suppressed in Iraq,if Bashar Assad's dictatorship did not exist, Daesh would not have emerged as a threat.
With the inception of the mullahs' rule in 1979, a concrete, practical model was created for all fundamentalist groups.
The history of the past 37 years proves that no other factor has been as effective as a ruling government acting as a role-model for the expansion of fundamentalist groups.
Particularly that the mullahs actively try to create these groups and guide them ideologically.
They also finance and provide arms for these groups.
The Hezbollah of Lebanon was made and backed by the mullahs.
The Ansarallah of Yemen is supported by the mullahs.
Several other militia groups in Iraq are affiliated with the Quds Force.
The African fundamentalists receive their arms from Iran.
Unfortunately, Western governments' silence and appeasement of the Iranian regime have emboldened other fundamentalist groups to follow in the mullahs' footsteps

International Women’s Day-messages from inside Iran-Reyhaneh Jabbari’s Mother&Political prisoner Saleh Kohandel

International Women’s Day message of Reyhaneh Jabbari’s Mother

On the eve of International Women’s Day, Sholeh Pakravan, mother of Rayhaneh Jabbari- the young Iranian girl, that was sentenced to death and later executed despite international outrage, for defending herself against a rapist- sent a message to mark International Women's Day, March 8th and expressed her outrage at the Iranian mullahs' misogyny.

The message reads in part:

“On the occasion of March 8th, International Women's Day: I am a woman. A silent woman who has the cries of silent women from the depths of the history in her heart. I am a woman who has felt with my flesh and skin the suffering of the innocent girls whose right and justice seeking voices in their defense are not heard when they are raped. Because my child was in such a situation. I am a mother. The mother of the girl who went to the gallows unjustly.”

She goes on to say, “My Rayhaneh has now joined history. But her perseverance and insistence on truth and justice, has been a model for many girls. Oppressors abducted Rayhaneh from my arms and hanged her. Unaware that Rayhaneh's (basil) seeds were planted in the ground and thousands of green and fresh basil will grow from it.”

The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) stands in solidarity with the women of Iran who have had to go through such terrible exploitation and oppression. On Saturday, February 27, 2016, on the eve of the International Women’s Day, a grand gathering entitled, “Pledge for Parity: Women United against Fundamentalism” was held in the presence of the Iranian Resistance's President-elect Maryam Rajavi and a number of political dignitaries, intellectuals, prominent personalities, and activists of the equality movement from 26 countries and four continents.

She said that, "Mandatory veil, is an all-inclusive and permanent tool for suppression of women. In a matter of only one year, 3.6 million women were inspected and questioned on the streets for "improper veiling" and 18,000 women were put on trial.”

The NCRI is of the view that the common practice of violence and rape against women and widespread addiction and misery of women are among products of the mullahs' corrupt Sharia.

In Iran under the rule of the mullahs, polygamy, anti-human treatment of women and girl children, sexual abuse of girl children under 9 years of age are justified and imposed on women. Mrs Rajavi said that the Velayat-e Faqih is a senseless monopoly that is confronting women's equal rights full force. “They have turned Iran into a big prison for women.”

Women are the main victims of fundamentalism in Iran. The NCRI supports theirs struggle against oppression. With solidarity and unity of action, they can play a significant and key role in combatting the excesses of the Iranian regime

Iran: Political prisoner’s message to his daughter in exile on the occasion of International Women's Day

Mr. Saleh Kohandel, a political prisoner currently held in a notorious prison in Iran has written a letter marking March 8th, International Woman’s Day to his daughter, Paria, who managed to secretly exit Iran last year and join the main Iranian opposition movement, the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK).

“I congratulate my daughters, Paria, and Zahra, and all your colleagues from inside the dungeons of the fundamentalist mullahs’ prisons. I say loud and clear: Thousands and thousands of salutations to you for choosing such a beautiful path and said no to the reactionary culture of the mullahs… congratulations to you

Of course, I was certain that none of the chains and restrictions of their culture could not keep you in their grasps. About me, don’t be worried because I have placed my entire cause to you, my spirit is with you and only my physical body is imprisoned by the inhumane mullahs, which itself is not very important. Now the mullahs’ regime is seeking to decay my body in solitary confinement, hang me like [PMOI member] Mr. Saremi, or have me murdered like my heroic friend, Shahrokh Zamani.

My girl, Paria, on such a beautiful day (International Women’s Day), which the misogynist mullahs cannot even tolerate as their ancestors buried girls alive and now they are splashing acid on innocent women’s faces, I am asking you to on my behalf congratulate those who are struggling for the freedom and liberation of Iranian women from the fundamentalist mullahs. It doesn’t matter what religion they may believe in.

And to those appeasing the mullahs, tell them to not waste their time because the future is ours and the mullahs will be defeated.
May victory be yours
Saleh Kohandel

EU Policy on Iran after Nuclear Accord

Maryam Rajavi's Speech at the European Parliament

Maryam Rajavi- Women's Role in War against Fundamentalism

Maryam Rajavi IN A MEETING AT THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT

Maryam Rajavi: All the Iranian regime's factions share common interests in suppression, terrorism and plunder of public wealth; the elections sham will not lead to moderation

With the money it gets from the West after lifting of sanctions, the Iranian regime buys advanced weapons for Assad to massacre the people of Syria and send waves of refugees to the West
Wednesday, March 2, 2016, Maryam Rajavi attended a meeting at the European Parliament entitled, "EU policy on Iran after Nuclear Accord". The meeting was presided by MEP Gerard Deprez, chairman of the Friends of a Free Iran inter-parliamentary group in the European Parliament.

A considerable number of members of the European Parliament and members of the Parliament of Belgium as well as the representative of the Syrian opposition coalition took part in the meeting and made speeches. They expressed support for the Iranian Resistance and abhorrence over the undemocratic elections in Iran. The deputies underlined the fact that elections are meaningless under a religious dictatorship and the West must not be deceived by such repetitive theatrics that they have already experienced. There are no moderates in the Iranian regime but there are suppression, religious and ethnic discrimination, interference in the affairs of other countries and warmongering in the region and the world.
Maryam Rajavi spoke to the meeting on the sham elections in Iran. In part of her remarks, she said: The so-called election was held without the presence of any opposition groups. It was in fact a race among present and former officials in charge of torture and executions. The election's outcome will not change anything in the political or economic life of the nation. This regime has no way out towards moderation. All its factions share common interests in domestic suppression and plunder of the public's wealth, as well as in exportation of terrorism.
