In solidarity with teacher imprisoned who are on hunger strike 492 person are on hunger strike according to a statement issued from inside the prison.
The statement also indicates the situation in the prison which forced these political prisoners to go on hunger strike.

Mahmoud Beheshti has been on hunger strike since April 11th and has started a dry hunger strike (no food, no water) since last Sunday.
Mr. Abdi started his hunger strike on April 21 and has been on the strike ever since.
