Iran the land of mass executions and the world is silence no action to stop executions

Report of executions in Iran during 2017
October 10, marks the World Day against the Death Penalty.
Every day in Iran, people are executed by the state as punishment for a variety of crimes – sometimes for acts that should not be criminalized. Hundreds are hanged for non-violent drug offences. This day should involve Iranian regime who have not abolished the death penalty.
Iran has the highest rate of executions per capita in the world. From August 2013 to September 2017, the total number of executions during Rouhani’s tenure has reached 3,111 cases.

Political Prisoner Died After Years of Deprivation of Medical Services

Mohammad Jarahi,On Thursday, October 5, 2017, Mohammad Jarahi, a noble worker, who had spent more than five years in the prison of Iranian regime for restoring the rights of workers, died in hospital.
Mohammad Jarahi was arrested on June 8, 2011, along with Shahrokh Zamani, on charges of "propaganda against the regime" and "assembly and conspiracy against national security" in Tabriz and was sentenced to five years discretionary imprisonment.
The regime’s henchmen deprived him from medical furlough despite his suffering from cancer. Constant denial of access to medical services, in addition to the inhumane conditions in the prisons of the mullahs’ regime, led to the rapid progression of the cancerous gland and resulted in his death one year after his release from prison.
The agents of the mullahs’ infamous Ministry of the Intelligence, had arrested Mohammad Jarrahi twice in 2007 and 2008, and continuously harassed him and his family.
The ruling religious fascism is responsible for torturing to death this noble worker, as before, many political prisoners like Shahrokh Zamani, imprisoned worker, have been murdered suspiciously in prisons or have been killed by the clerical regime due to deprivation of medical services.
While expressing condolences to the workers, especially the workers of Azerbaijan and the family of Mohammad Jarhay, the Iranian resistance, calls on all International Human Rights organizations and Labors Rights Defenders to take immediate action to save the lives of political prisoners and condemn the anti-labor policies of the clerical regime.

General of U.N. transmitted to the General Assembly the report of the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Iran, which has been submitted in accordance with Human Rights Council resolution 34/23.
Report by Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Iran
During its thirty-third session, the Human Rights Council appointed Asma Jahangir as Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Iran. The present report outlines the activities carried out by the Special Rapporteur since the issuance of her first report to the Council (A/HRC/34/65), examines ongoing issues and presents some of the most recent and pressing developments in the area of human rights in the country.
It is noteworthy that recently Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the President Elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, in her speech on the anniversary of 1988 massacre of political prisoners in Iran stated: ‘It is essential that the UN Security Council refer this case to the International Criminal Court to arrange for the prosecution of the regime’s leaders and those responsible for the massacre. How the international community approaches this genocide and this crime against humanity is a litmus test of its adherence to the principles of human rights.

Mehrab Eyvazi, Torture and Death Penalty for Another Teenager

Mehrab Eyvazi, an adolescent who was arrested at the age of 17 with nine others, was sentenced to death by the regime's court for murder. According to reports, in addition to being severely beaten and mayhem in a police station, he is also threatened with rape.
Mr. Eyvazi was under the age of 18 at the time of his arrest, but the forensic court confirmed his rational and mental development in spite of his minor age, which provided the ground for the issue of the death sentence

Representatives of the United Kingdom, France, the United Nations, and the Vatican rubbed shoulders with the Syrian prime minister, Hezbollah second-in-command Naim Qassem, Palestinian Islamic Jihad leader and FBI Most Wanted Terrorists list member Ramadan Abdullah Shallah, and murderous Zimbabwean dictator Robert Mugabe. The Westerners didn’t seem uncomfortable in such company; indeed, European Union foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini was described as the star of the show after Iranian members of parliament elbowed through the crowd to take selfies with the diplomat.

Irans brutal regime has mass executed 13 prisoners in just one day

Iran's brutal regime has mass executed 13 prisoners in just one day
The barbaric regime of mullahs in Iran has executed 12 prisoners on Thursday, August 10, 2017 in just two cities. 11 prisoners were hanged collectively in the city of Birjand, east of Iran and another prisoner was hanged in Zabol, another city on the eastern part of the country.
The clerical regime ruling Iran perpetrated another heinous crime by hanging a young man in Shiraz, southern Iran on the same Thursday, August 10. This young man known as Alireza Tajiki was 15 years old at the time of arrest. He was hanged today (Thursday Aug. 10) after spending 5 years in prison. Alireza was placed in a solitary confinement upon arrest at the age of 15 and was tortured for two weeks until he was forced to confess to the crime.

Brutal Execution of a Young Prisoner Who Was 15 Years Old When Arrested

In the early morning of Thursday, August 10, the mullahs’ regime once again executed an adolescent. The regime hanged Alireza Tajiki, a young prisoner arrested at the age of 15, after serving six years imprisonment in the Adelabad prison in Shiraz, southern Iran. This crime took place despite repeated requests from human rights and international authorities.
Alireza Tajiki was transferred to solitary confinement six years ago after being arrested, and was tortured for forced confession despite being a teenager. His case was full of ambiguous questions, and his family repeatedly requested a retrial; a request that was never answered.

According to the data collected from material published by the Iranian state-run press, human rights activists and their websites, or from private sources in touch with the Iranian Resistance, 80 of those executed during Rouhani's tenure have been women.
Nevertheless, the actual figures are definitely higher, as most executions in Iran are carried out secretly without anyone knowing except those who carry it out.

Europe must not turn a blind eye to Iran’s human rights abuses
Europe must not turn a blind eye to Iran’s human rights abuses

Amnesty International has just published a 94-page report entitled “Caught in a web of repression: Iran’s human rights defenders under attack.” It details 45 specific instances of what the organization has described as a “vicious crackdown” coinciding with the supposedly moderate presidency of Hassan Rouhani, who begins his second term in office this week.
The overall takeaway is that Iranian authorities have repeatedly diminished the standards by which they accuse and convict activists and dissenters of national security crimes, while also increasing the severity of punishments that are meted out to those same people. The abusive nature of those punishments was reinforced by new revelations that emerged alongside the Amnesty International report, mainly regarding the Islamic Republic’s notorious overuse of the death penalty.
Iran has long maintained world-leading rates of execution, and the violence and repression of the past few years have been reflected in a pattern of hangings that includes periodic spikes during which dozens of people are put to death in a single month. Last month saw just such a spike, with at least 101 death sentences being carried out, to say nothing of those that might have gone ahead in secret.

Mogherini's Attendance at Rouhani's Inauguration Encourages Iran Regime's Impunity
Attending Hassan Rouhani’s inauguration in the midst of a series of revelations is morally and politically unconscionable, writes Alejo Vidal-Quadras, as it suggests the EU will look the other way on actual abuses as long as there are pleasant-sounding promises coming out of a small faction within the Iranian regime.
On Wednesday 2 August, Amnesty International issued a new report on the systematic human rights abuses being carried out by the Islamic Republic of Iran.
MEP: Mogherini's Visit to Iran, Will Only Encourage the Mullahs to Continue Their Repressive Actions
Visit by European Officials to Iran Amidst Executions
Is insult to universal values of human rights
The Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran strongly condemns the visit of Ms. Mogherini and other European officials to Iran under the rule of religious fascism, and participation in the inauguration of its illegitimate president. These travels, while at least 101 executions took place in Iran in July, are an insult to the universal human rights values of which the EU considers itself as protector and defender.
Any investment in the mullahs’ regime - while all signs indicate that it is entering its final phase - are doomed to fail with losses, leaving only this image of Europe in the minds of the Iranian people that they are throwing a rescue rope toward the regime.

Evin Prison
Al Arabiya English-Evin Prison: The Iranian regime’s notorious torture factory
By Tony Duheaume

The Iranian regime lives in constant fear of an uprising to overthrow it. Such is its paranoia where opposition groups are concerned it has spent the whole period of its existence, eliminating dissenters.
The approach to any form of opposition shows how insecure this regime has become. But as far as extreme brutality is concerned, it could not be more prevalent than that of the regime’s treatment of dissidents at Evin Prison, where guards use torture to humiliate their captives before executing them.
Through the despicable acts taking place here, the lack of humanity shown by the prison authorities toward all those who speak out against the regime, mirrors the insecurities of the entire state.
Located at the foot of the Alborz mountains in northern Tehran, Evin Prison was originally constructed in 1972, under the reign of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi. It was then operated by his infamous security and intelligence service (SAVAK).

Don't whitewash the Iranian regime's crime
by Amir Basiri,
Jul 12, 2017-- Last week, the Iranian regime took the ambassadors of 45 foreign countries for a tour of the notorious Evin prison in Tehran to judge for themselves how the state treats prisoners. The tour came one day after Javad Larijani, the head of the Iranian regime's so-called 'Human Rights Organization,' claimed there are no political prisoners in Iran.
This was an attempt to debunk the increasing wave of international criticism at Iran's human rights violations, especially in its prisons.

Iran: Foreign diplomats tour of Evin prison a 'crude PR stunt'

Amnesty International, 13 July 2017--  Last week the Iranian authorities arranged a rare visit to one of the country’s most infamous prisons for representatives of up to 45 foreign diplomatic missions from Europe, Asia, Africa and South America.
The authorities made no secret of the fact that the tour of Evin Prison in Tehran was designed to counter negative Human rights reports about the prison, and showcase the “excellent facilities” on offer which include an in-house beauty salon, gym, library and restaurant.
In the days that followed, state media outlets were flooded with news stories praising conditions at the prison including congratulatory comments from Indian, Indonesian, Portuguese and South Korean delegates.
In reality, this rosy picture could not be further from the truth.

57 EXECUTED IN IRAN SINCE THE BEGINNING OF JULY

Maryam Rajavi: The Iranian regime’s stepped up resort to mass executions is a desperate bid to curb social upheavals
International community called to censure criminal executions, reject Tehran’s religious fascist regime

The growing trend of mass executions since the beginning of July which has amounted to at least 57 executions so far is a desperate attempt by the clerical regime to counter the rising wave of public discontent and prevent the spread of popular upheavals by creating an atmosphere of fear and terror.
This was announced by Maryam Rajavi. She called on the nation, particularly Iranian youths, to voice their protest against such arbitrary executions and express their support for and solidarity with the families of the victims.
Maryam Rajavi emphasized the need for urgent international action to condemn such criminal killings, conditioning continuation of their relations with the regime on the end to the death penalty. She further called on the world community to reject the religious fascist regime ruling Iran.
Ten prisoners were executed in Gohardasht Prison, the Central Prison of Orumiyeh and Hamedan’s Prison on Wednesday, July 12, 2017. Borzou Sheikhi, executed in Orumiyeh, was a professor at the University of Orumiyeh. He was hanged while still mentally insane.

Iran just gave foreign delegates a tour around a ‘luxury’ part of one of their most notorious prisons

A UK representative was present on the tour, viewing wings that house wealthier prisoners, while British-Iranian charity worker Nazanin Zaghari Ratcliffe languished in a building nearby Last week the Iranian authorities arranged a rare international visit to one of the country’s most infamous places of detention – Evin Prison in Tehran.
This visit wasn’t arranged for an international prison expert or a human rights body. It was for representatives of over forty foreign diplomatic missions from Europe, Asia, Africa and South America. The UK had a representative there.
The foreign delegates were shown around some limited areas of the prison, and there was a roundtable discussion, held outdoors in a lush garden. There are photos in circulation and you can see various countries’ flags perched on al fresco tables, the Union Jack amongst them. By the standards of diplomatic meetings, it all looks rather idyllic.
