Simultaneous to reports of the closure of main road leading to the Cyrus tomb, Friday prayer leaders in the Fars Province (southern Iran) strongly attacked the Ceremony of the Achaemenid king (Cyrus the Great) Day and condemned Israel and the U.S. as “sponsors” of the ceremony.
According to the state-run IRNA news agency, Alireza Siahpur, Director General of Fars Province Road Transport said on Friday, October 27, that part of the Shiraz-Isfahan highway would be blocked on Saturday and Sunday October 28 and 29, due to "repairs". This is the main road leading to the Cyrus Tomb. The ancient Pasargadae is located about 135 kilometers from Shiraz.
Meanwhile, Siahpur announced that drivers who intend to travel from Isfahan to southern Fars province should use alternative routes.

In fear of mass demonstrations and mass gatherings in Pasargad on the birthday of Cyrus the Great, the anti-human and anti-Iranian mullahs’ regime has conducted military maneuvers and massive repressive measures in various cities of Fars province, especially the cities and the surrounding areas of Pasargad.
IRGC forces and the Police Force in Pasargad and the surrounding towns have virtually imposed a curfew and have closed all roads leading to Pasargad, even the rural roads, and are preventing the movement of vehicles to Pasargad and return them.
The repressive forces order cars that are going to Shiraz, Tehran or Isfahan to continue their journey from the old way.

October 29th marks “Cyrus Day” in Iran, commemorating Cyrus the Great, probably the most renowned ruler of ancient Persia.
Last year on this day a large gathering of thousands Iranians sent shockwaves to Tehran, proving to the world Iran’s society remains restive and fiercely opposes the ruling regime.
For the past 48 hours social media activists across Iran have used the hashtag #CyrusDay to post their views and inviting people to the gathering.
On Monday morning, October 23, more than two thousand people, whose property was plundered by institutions affiliated with IRGC, judiciary and other state agencies, rallied in front of the regime's parliament. The repressive police force using batons, assaulted the demonstrators and beat them brutally, and tried to disperse the demonstration in which women played a very active role, but was faced with the resistance of the people.

Orumieh, People Set Ablaze an IRGC Affiliate Basij Force Basee Shohada’ girls’ school in Islamabad district in Orumieh (northwestern Iran), the families of students as well as the people who were supporting them staged a protest rally. In the aftermath of the protests, angry and protesting youth burned down the base of anti-popular Bassij base at the Qods Mosque in that district last night.

Iran is being swallowed by the monster of poverty and hunger, a true picture showing the reality of deep poverty that has afflicted the majority of Iranian population, and a fact that even regime officials and media have eventually acknowledged in part no matter how hard they’ve tried to deny it with their manipulated figures.

Unemployment in Iran is 45 percent among university graduates alone
Official figures cite the head of Iranian regime parliament’s Planning and Budget Commission say, 5-6 million university graduates in Iran are out of work.
Speaking durding a special TV news program, Gholamreza Tajgardoon said that three million 200 thousand of the country’s active population as well as three million 950 thousand of inactive population are out of work, adding “of the country’s total active population of 25 million 790 thousand, 22 million 588 thousand are working while the remaining three million 203 thousand are out of work.”
“Among inactive population with higher levels of education, there are five million 425 thousand out of work, meaning we have nearly six million unemployed graduates whose economic capacities are being wasted”, says Tajgardoon.
The unemployment rate of university graduates has been of great importance in recent years and has now turned into a major challenge. In addition to 36 percent of the unemployed being university graduates, about 51 percent of graduates are unemployed and looking for work, according to the state-run Tasnim news agency report on November 29, 2017.
About 34 percent of all graduates and 52 percent of graduated women are inactive.
According to the 2016 General Census of Population and Housing, the total number of unemployed people in the country was 3,258,000.
Poverty compels pregnant women to sell their unborn babies
“If you are looking for an unborn baby to adopt since birth, contact this number as soon as possible.” The shocking ad was stuck on a wall in one of Tehran’s streets.
Although posters like “newborn baby sale” or “children on sale” are not new, they are receiving increasing media attention as they are becoming more frequent. Such ads are seen on the walls in many streets, hospitals, and clinics.
The spread of homelessness and poverty in Iran has put many women in difficult circumstances. A large number of homeless pregnant women are selling their unborn infants often for less than $600 provided that their babies are born healthy. Some impoverished women rent their wombs.
“Baby-sale” advertisements are also circulated on the internet and can be found on banners on many websites. One such banner reads: “I am a 32-year-old woman and 4 months pregnant. Those who do not have any children and want to adopt a child, please let me know. In this way, they can have a baby. On the other hand, I am a single woman with no source of income and cannot raise a child.”
The state-run Mehr news agency, on August 22, 2015 cited a social expert as saying, “I have personally slept among those who sleep in cardboard boxes in the streets… Unfortunately, in these districts, I witnessed sale of kids. The conditions are so critical that they sell the fetus in the mother’s womb before birth for 1 million and 750 thousand toumans ($314).”
Poverty has taken a heavy toll on women as the regime deprives them of equal opportunities for employment and economic participation. Acknowledging the impact of unemployment on increasing social harm, Iranian regime's Interior Minister said: despite the unemployment rate of 12 percent in Iran, unemployment in some Iranian cities reaches 60 percent.
Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli said on Sunday, October 1, in an interview with state-run ISNA news agency, that social harm is “more acute” in areas where unemployment is high. He did not mention the cities where the unemployment rate reaches more than 60 percent.
According to government reports, despite the fact that the overall unemployment rate in the country was 12.4% last year, unemployment in Kermanshah province (west of Iran) was 22% and in Chahar Mahal and Bakhtiari province (southwest of Iran) was 20.2%. In Kurdistan province (west of Iran), unemployment is announced to be more than 15 percent.
In this regard, based on the unemployment data of 397 cities in Iran, the state-run Mehr news agency reported in 2013 that the unemployment rate in Bashagard city, in Hormozgan province (southern Iran), was 53 percent the highest unemployment rate in Iran.
According to the government statistics, Javanrood city in Kurdistan province with 47% and Saravan in Sistan and Baluchistan province (southeast of Iran) with 45% were the second and third highest unemployment cities in Iran respectively.
Ali Rabiei, Minister of Cooperatives, Labour and Social Welfare of the Iranian regime, has said the number of unemployed is 3.2 million people, and the Center for Research of the regime’s parliament announced that it is between 6.5 to 7 million people.
Rabiei also recently acknowledged that the Iranian economy does not have the “strength and capacity” to solve this problem.
The Interior Minister also said on Sunday regarding the unemployment situation in Iran that the unemployment rate of educated people is “much higher” than “being announced on average” but did not give a figure on the unemployment of educated people in Iran.
Hassan Taie, deputy minister of cooperatives, labour and social welfare of the regime, had previously announced that the unemployment rate of university graduates was “between 21.5 to 22%".

A moving photo has been recently published on the internet of a disabled woman in Bandar Abbas, southern Iran, who is searching for food and other usable items in a trash bin.The Bandar Abbasi photographer who published this photo wrote, “This disabled woman provides for all of her life's needs including food from trash bins.”This and other images that have been published by the NCRI Women’s Committee bespeak of extreme poverty and particularly the feminine face of poverty in Iran, where women are deprived of job opportunities and enjoy no public or social support and have to do anything to provide for their own and their families’ most basic needs.
The Accelerating Pace of Poverty in Iran
The accelerating pace of poverty extension in Iran is due to the innumerable corruption of government officials. The harmful effects of poverty among the people are so obvious that even the state-run media and regime officials are inevitably forced to admit this fact.
“Right now, there are about 10 to 12 million people in absolute poverty,” said Parviz Fattah, head of the so-called Khomeini Relief Committee. “But if the indicators are accurately determined and we want to raise the level of welfare of the community, then 16 to 20 million people in the country can be found in the circle of absolute poverty.”
Of course, since he knows that this is not a real figure, he immediately adds: “It is very difficult to define absolute poverty in our country, and if we want to elaborate on it in details, it has a political burden and it should be seen whether the authorities are ready to undergo the political burden of this issue in front of the global assemblies? 50 percent of girls in border provinces drop out of school
About 50 per cent of girl students do not go to high school in the border provinces of Iran. Rezvan Hakimzadeh, the Education Ministry’s deputy for elementary schools, said, “In many border provinces, high schools cover only 50 per cent of girls in high school level. NCRI - The Minister of Roads and Urban Development, Abbas Akhoundi delivered a speech in the city of Mashhad, Northeastern Iran, stating that," One-third of the urban population of Khorasan Razavi (northeastern Iran) do not have favorable life conditions.30% of the cities in this province have worn-out textures that signify the urban decay, which can be a problem for the future."
He further admitted that 19 million people do not have a proper housing in the country and they are in critical conditions (Fars News, September 8).Additionally, the regime's Minister of Roads and Urban Development had earlier admitted to this fact as well. According to Tasnim News, he claimed that there are 9 million worn-out urban textures in the country (Tasnim News, August 28).
Bad housing refers to the residential homes, single rooms, or houses that do not have entrances, toilets, and utilities. Bad housing is also related to the unofficial residences spreading in the city. Nevertheless, the bad housing in rural areas refers to the weakness of constructions, materials, as well as the number of rooms.
According to the Secretary of Comprehensive Housing Plan and based on the minimum standards, each person must have at least 12 meters of residence in a residential unit. In addition, the building must be safe in terms of strength and materials used for its construction and there are minima like a bathroom, toilet, and kitchen in each unit.
According to the government officials, more than 7 million families i.e. 33% are struggling with poverty in the country. In other words, they are not able to afford housing expenses. According to the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, 33% of Iran's population lives under the poverty line.
On July 12, 2017, Tasnim News affiliated with the terrorist Qods Force, reported from the website of Tehran Chamber of Commerce, writing that, "33% of Iran's population lives under poverty line."

Iranian people's resistance to topple the ruling religious dictatorship
Resistance's President-elect Maryam Rajavi congratulated all workers of Iran on the International Labor Day. She expressed her wish that this year would a year of restitution of the rights of millions of honorable workers, men and women, who have been laid off and dismissed or have been doomed to live in fear, poverty and insecurity because their wages are not paid under white or temporary contract
Mr. Abbas Davari, chairman of the Labor Committee of the
National Council of Resistance of Iran, congratulated workers across the
country on the occasion of International Workers' Day and said:

According to the paramilitary Basij force linked semi-official news agency in Iran, the Iranian regime's officials from different organizations and institutions have refrained to appear in front of demonstrating workers and people to answer their demands or to even respond to the needs of striking communities and sectors of the society.
The chaotic and confused economic situation which has been the direct result of incalculable plunders by the regime officials, especially by government elites and the incompetency of the persons in charge have resulted in the closer of almost all industrial sectors and the soaring unemployment amongst workers. These workers are already living under the poverty line and once out of jobs their only source of income which would enable them to live would vanish.
According to the news agency, the suffering people 'have so far taken part in many sit-ins and protest gatherings in front of the governor's office in the city of Yazd, central Iran. Among the protest gatherings in recent days, the chicken producing industry, truck drivers and company employees have been most noticeable.
But the officials in the city of Yazd have refrained from appearing in person to answer their grievances despite calling themselves as labor supporters and those who defend the rights of workers. They didn't even bother to step out of their offices and to hear what those hundreds of people have to say.
On Monday, 05 October a number of teachers and support teachers in Tehran protested.
The gathering was in front of the office doors of education in the
Palestinian street, and n Vanak Square near the Gandhi Tehran.
In this gathering Mrs. Sholeh Pakravan mother of Reyhaneh Jabbari in very simple words said:

is not the place of teachers,every body in Society owes them, how dare
this brutal regime could put them in jail? we promise thatwe will continuetosupportteachersandother prisoners...
Integrated crowd chanted: teacher prisoners must be freed, not a prison teacher, teacher, worker, student union alliance.
They waved banners which demanded the release of imprisoned teacher and respond to their demands.
On Thursday, 08 October also will continue the protests of all citizens to participate in the protests invited.
Also in northern Iran Teachers protest for their rights A
group of teachers from Gilan Province, northern Iran, on Monday
protested outside the local branch of the regime's Education Ministry in
the city of Rasht.
The Iranian teachers protested against inequality, poor living standards, and overdue wages.
There was a strong presence of female teachers among the protesters.

September 22, on the eve of the new Iranian academic year, Mrs. Maryam
Rajavi, the Iranian Resistance's President-elect, hailed Iran’s
university and high school students, teachers, and professors as “future
makers” and wished them a fruitful year with more extensive protests
and advancement on the path of
freedom and emancipation of the people of
Iran
