#Ramadan conference in #Paris supports #regimechange in #Iran& #peace across the #MiddleEast

In an Iftar conference held in France titled “Islam’s Message of Peace and Freedom,” the Iranian Resistance and representative from different Muslim communities and Arab countries expressed solidarity with the Iranian Resistance, and support for regime change in Iran and the end of Islamic fundamentalism in the Middle East and across the world.

In her keynote address to the conference, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, president-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), reminded that in Iran, the first day of Ramadan was marked with the Iranian regime’s violent clampdown on protests in Kazerun, which has so far left three dead, dozens injured, and many more arrested, and reiterated her call for the United Nations to dispatch an investigative delegation and demand the immediate release of the arrested.

For my compatriots in Iran, especially the freedom-loving youths who have risen up in protest, I wish you victory in overcoming the mullahs’ religious tyranny,” Mrs. Rajavi said. “May God’s mercy and compassion lead the Iranian people’s struggle and suffering to final victory: freedom.”

Mrs. Rajavi reminded that the true message of Islam is the peace and freedom, the mullahs ruling Iran have used religion as a tool to push the people’s lives into distress. “Iran’s needy have reached the point where they have to sell their kidneys and corneas. Mothers have become so devastated that they sell their unborn fetuses,” she said, adding that the mullahs are “the worst enemies of God and His people.”

The Iranian regime has plundered the wealth of the Iranian people to fuel its wars in other countries such as Syria and Iraq, Mrs. Rajavi said, stressing that “The overthrow of the mullahs’ regime will shape the destiny of Iran and the entire Middle East.”

The conference took place at a time where the international community is seeking a response to the various threats posed by the Iranian regime. Recently, the United States withdrew from the nuclear deal forged between Iran and world powers because it failed to address the main concerns that the world is faced with in respect to the Iranian regime.

“[The] elimination of the Iranian regime’s terrorism and nuclear threat is only possible by getting rid of the entire regime,” Mrs. Rajavi said. “Peace, democracy, security and stability in the Middle East necessarily depend on ending the rule of religious dictatorship and fascism in Iran.”

Former Algerian Prime Minister Sid Ahmed Ghozali, who also spoke at the event, stressed that the Iranian regime is helping slaughter the people of Syria. He also said that the Iranian resistance is the exact opposite of the mullahs’ regime in every respect and called all advocates of liberty to “support the Iranian Resistance.” “They are the true defenders of the message of an Islam of peace and liberty,” he said.

Prominent members of the Syrian opposition also attended the conference and stressed that the fate and freedom of the Iranian and Syrian people are tied together.

Mohamad Nazir Hakim, Secretary General of Syrian Coalition, also spoke about the role of the Iranian regime in plunging Syria in devastation and chaos. “Iran's regime uses its nation's wealth to slaughter our people,” Hakim said. “But Syria's dictator will not remain forever. We know that victory is going to arrive soon.”

Hakim also called on the Western states not to close their eyes on the crimes of the Iranian regime in his country and called on the international community to take an active role in expelling the Iranian regime’s militias from Syria.

Hakim also praised the Iranian people for standing up against the oppression of the Iranian regime and called for the support of the Iranian Resistance. “The NCRI is the true alternative of the mullahs’ regime,” he said.

Maryam Rajavi and a number of prominent personalities from Arab countries and the Muslim community in France took part in a gathering in Auvers-sur-Oise on the occasion of the Holy month of Ramadan. The meeting was entitled, “Interfaith Solidarity Against Extremism.
In her remarks to this gathering, Maryam Rajavi said:
Ramadan is the month of bonding of hearts, friendship, solidarity and peace.
Unfortunately, however, in the present circumstances, there is no blame on us if we shed tears for the dissociation and agony among our countries and nations, for Syria, Iraq and Yemen and other countries where our Muslim sisters and brothers are living in exasperating conditions.
For this reason and with your permission I would like to call on all Muslim nations to unite in solidarity. This is a call based on a solid foundation acceptable to most Muslims.
Ideologically, this foundation is to deny religious compulsion and compulsory religion. Or in the words of the Quran: La Ikraha feddin (There is no compulsion in religion).
Politically, it is to stand up to the religious tyranny ruling Iran, who is the common enemy of all the countries in the Middle East.
In our times, religious compulsion and compulsory religion began with Khomeini seizing power. It has become a tool for pushing back opponents and for imposing a despotic rule.
On this basis, we say that the dispute is not between Shiites and Sunnis, nor between Christians and Muslims. Indeed, there is no war among civilizations. The main confrontation is between despotism and fundamentalism on the one hand and democracy and freedom on the other.
Rejection of all forms of compulsion in religion also opens the way for the principle of separation of religion and state and leaves no room for tyranny and religious discrimination under the name of God.
Yes, we can unite on a fundamental principle which makes up the sinew of Islam and that is the rejection of religious compulsion, namely the principle of La Ikraha Feddin.
The spirit of Islam abhors all forms of compulsion, coercion and forcible prohibition, ranging from imposing the compulsory veil to the forced observation of fasting and prayers by flogging and terror, to preventing the construction of Sunni mosques, and especially imposing the rule of a government under the name of God and Islam.
The Iranian regime’s animosity to peace and tranquility in the Middle East has been steady for the past three decades because export of terrorism and fundamentalism are indispensable to the regime’s strategy for survival.
Now that the international community concurs on the origin of terrorism and fundamentalism in the region, namely the Velayat-e Faqih regime in Tehran, I would like to propose a three-pronged initiative on behalf of the Iranian people and Resistance. And I urge all countries in the region to support it.
First, the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) must be officially declared as a terrorist entity. The IRGC and all of its proxy militias must be evicted from countries in the region.
Second, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) must expel the Iranian regime from this organization and grant the seat of Iran to the Iranian people’s Resistance.
Third, they should recognize the Iranian people’s struggle to bring down the clerical regime and establish freedom and democracy.

The participants all condemned Iran’s meddling in regional neighbors, its fundamentalist and terrorism under the banner of Islam, and describing these measures, especially those by of the Revolutionary Guards and Iranian regime in killing the Syrian people as the main element behind the Middle East’s crises.
Algerian writer Anwar Malek, former head of the Arab Society in Syria, in his speech said Islam is a tolerant religion, a religion of co-existence, a religion of peace, kindness, not terrorism, not fundamentalism, sectarianism and racism.

“I am proud to take part in this meeting on behalf of the Solidarity Committee In Defense of Ashraf Residents. Now that our brothers are in Albania, does this mean this is the end of this committee’s work? No. Naturally, our main priority was to save their lives, and relocate them from the prison they were in. However, our brothers have become the symbols of a just cause, and as Mrs. Rajavi has said time and again, after allocating years of defending the movement and delisting it from the terrorist lists, now is the time to go on the offensive,” said former Algerian prime minister Sid Ahmed Ghozali.

we are all familiar with the role the Mullahs’ regime is playing, both independently and in collaboration with ISIS, to destroy the region. This dirty role has torn the region apart and spread destruction, murder, and displacement all over it.”
“So, we need to step up our efforts in order to stand against the Iranian regime’s sponsoring of evil all over the world”, said Al-Haj, adding “ what needs to be considered is that we all stand by true representatives of Iranian people, namely Iran National Council of Resistance and the PMOI. So, greetings to their prisoners held in Iran’s prisons, and, prior to that, greetings to their martyrs. Their movement has offered 120 thousand martyrs for freedom and human rights, demanding that Iranian people’s rights and dignity be realized.”

This Ramadan, month of solidarity with the resistant people of Syria
why is it that Iran's ruling mullahs and Bashar Assad do no relent in their killings?
Since they do not see any viable future for themselves, they continue to execute people in Iran and spill the blood of people in Syria to protect their petty interests.
In diametric opposition, we, the Iranian Resistance, declare the month of Ramadan as the month of solidarity with the strong and resistant people of Syria. Tonight in this gathering for Iftar, we are thinking of Syria-- blood-drenched and injured --and we pay tribute to the heroism and steadfastness of its great people.
But also beyond this agony and suffering, we see the images of resistance and high fighting spirits that have evoked worldwide admiration.
From here, we hail all those valiant and courageous fighters.
Hail to all the fronts of struggle and steadfastness in Syria,
Hail to the heroic Aleppo;
Hail to Mare', Khan Touman and Hama;
Hail to Homs and Daraa;
Hail to Ghouta of Damascus, and the unwavering city of Darayya;
Oh heroes, your struggle builds the future of Syria and the future of the region.
You are the pride of Humanity.

ّIran-Maryam Rajavi's felicitations on Ramadan's first Iftar with mothers of martyrs and supporters of the Iranian Resistance08 June 2016
On the occasion of the beginning of the month of Ramadan, an Iftar ceremony was held on Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at Auvers-sur-Oise, hosting mothers of martyrs of the Iranian Resistance and supporters of the movement.
Maryam Rajavi extended her felicitations to Muslims the world over and especially to her compatriots in Iran on the inception of the Holy month of Ramadan, the month of virtue, peace and friendship.

She wished that the belligerence and carnage, led by Iran's ruling mullahs under the banner of Islam, be uprooted.
Referring to the humane traditions of Ramadan, as the month of virtue and worship, and the month of peace, friendship and charity, she pointed out:
In diametric opposition to such culture, today the mullahs fuel and foment more war and bloodshed in the region. Domestically, too, they have stepped up repression under the pretext of Ramadan. In a grave disrespect for the sanctity of this holy month, they impose further restrictions on the populace and increasingly use flogging and executions as their punishment.
She also noted the horrific class difference, poverty, unemployment and high prices in Iran and said: There is not a day when we do not hear the cries of the people afflicted with various calamities including suicides and disintegration of families. Numerous families have not had a complete meal for a long time; they do not afford to pay for medical treatment and education of their children. They live in shanty towns. Millions upon millions of youths remain unemployed and their talents are perished. They are deprived of their most basic rights and freedoms, and their short moments of celebration and happiness end with flogging, libels and arrests.
In such circumstances, the mullahs' record of corruption and plunder is truly amazing:
On one side is the luxurious wealth and lifestyle of the mullahs, their families and accomplices knowing no limits in extravagant spending and squandering of wealth;  on the other side is the destitution of people who have to sell their kidneys, corneas, or unborn infants to survive.
Maryam Rajavi said: The regime falsely pretends to be defending the poor and the destitute while a glance over the situation in Iran and Syria easily reveals how Khamenei and Bashar Assad have butchered hundreds of thousands of people there. Such a decadent regime is doomed to go.
In the first Iftar of Ramadan, Maryam Rajavi prayed for the people of Iran and the region to be free from the clerical regime's evil. She also wished greater determination and faith for Iran's PMOI freedom fighters.
