Iran-Truth behind the Iran lobby in US

Trita Parsi and its Iran lobby NIAC funded by the clerical regime in Iran

In the weeks since the Obama administration announced the perilous international Iran nuclear deal, growing attention has been paid to the network of organizations and foundations that have been actively lobbying in an effort to normalize relations between Washington and Tehran.
Rightly, that network is being referred to as the “Iran lobby.” The welcome and much-needed scrutiny of its workings and contacts provides a salutary lesson in how to identify enemies who present themselves as friends.
At the head of the pack is the Washington, DC-based National Iranian American Council (NIAC). Led by Trita Parsi, a Swedish-Iranian immigrant, NIAC has artfully worked itself into the center of the Iran policy debate

The regime in Iran has released five senior al Qaeda operatives from detention and will soon allow them to leave the country, prompting fears they will join other terrorists in Syria planning attacks on the West, Sky News has reported.

According to Sky News' intelligence sources, three of the five are members of al Qaeda's ruling committee, the Shura Council.

"They were released in exchange for an Iranian diplomat kidnapped in Yemen earlier this year," the report said.

“Don’t” is the word Iranian exiles have for US businesses looking to open their doors in Iran.

To a person, they are warning that doing business with the theocratic regime of Iran’s Khamenei was fraught with risk.
“Americans who develop a business in Iran will find that not a penny they pay in fees to the government will go to help the poor, the 70 percent-plus of Iranians in their teens and 20s who are unemployed, or the teachers who haven’t been paid in six months,” said Allen Tasslimi, New Jersey venture capitalist and president of the Association of Iranian-Americans of New Jersey, whose younger brother was executed by the clerical regime in the 1980s.

Americans rallying in New York against Iran nuclear deal

The Hill, 8 September 2015

By Mark Mellman

In our representative democracy, public policy only imperfectly reflects public opinion.
Fortunately, Democrats passed healthcare reform despite the fact that, among the public at the time, opponents outnumbered supporters by 5 to 15 points. Republicans shut down the government in 2013 despite 3-to-1 opposition from voters.
And, of course, Republicans stopped legislation mandating background checks for all gun purchasers even though voters favor the proposal by a 75-point margin.

Iran-Mayor Rudy Giuliani: We must recognize Iranian Resistance movement

In order to prevent a nuclear-armed regime in Iran and avoid war in the process, the U.S. government should recognize and support the Iranian Resistance which seeks to overthrow the mullahs’ regime, Rudolph W. Giuliani, former mayor of New York, wrote on Friday marking the 14th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks in the United States.

"It would be a mistake, however, to conclude that 9/11 is now simply a part of the nation’s history, like Pearl Harbor. Because there is one big difference. The causes and hatreds that created 9/11 are still with us, and the terrorists have enlisted members who are even more diverse, cunning and determined. The Islamist terrorist war against us continues. This is not a matter of history but of current and future threats," Mr. Giuliani wrote in The Wall Street Journal.

No US Negotiations Outside Nuke Deal, Says Iran Leader

Khamenei rejects further talks with ‘Great Satan’ U.S.

The Iranian regime's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei said Wednesday that Tehran will not enter into talks with the United States outside of the nuclear deal with world powers as Washington could use other negotiations to "penetrate" the Islamic Republic.

"We approved talks with the United States about nuclear issue specifically. We have not allowed talks with the U.S. in other fields and we will not negotiate with them," Khamenei said.

Khamenei reiterated that America remains the "Great Satan." He also renewed his attacks on Israel, saying the “Zionist regime” won’t exist in 25 years.

Iran's regime has been sending billions of dollars to fill the pockets of terrorist fighters across the Middle East, including in Yemen, Syria, Lebanon and the Gaza Strip, according to a private U.S. government report ordered by Senator Mark Kirk.

Iran’s defense budget ranges anywhere between $14 billion to $30 billion a year and much of that money goes to fund terrorist groups and rebel fighters throughout the region, according to the Congressional Research Service report conducted at the request of Sen. Iran working with North Korea to thwart U.N. nuclear inspections - Washington Times

"Iran's clerical regime has been working on ways to conceal the military dimensions of its nuclear projects from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for some time and sought the advice and expertise of North Korean consultants to do so, according to the report from the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI)," The Washington Times said.

U.S. Senator Benjamin L. Cardin, the senior Democrat on the Foreign Relations Committee and one of the most prominent Jewish members of Congress, said on Friday that he would oppose President Barack Obama’s nuclear deal with Iran, The New York Times wrote on Friday.

Sen. Cardin’s closely watched decision did not jeopardize the implementation of the nuclear accord, but it did raise the likelihood that the U.S. president would have to veto a resolution disapproving it this month — a diplomatic embarrassment the White House is hoping to avoid.

IRAN-USA-Gov. Tom Ridge: In dealing with Iran, hope is not a strategy

Beneath U.S. President Barack Obama’s "outrageous claim" that those who oppose the recent nuclear deal with the regime in Iran are actually voting for war lies a "pattern of self-deception and false hope," writes former Gov. Tom Ridge.

"This month marks the 27th anniversary of what Amnesty International has called the 'prison massacre' in Iran. Tens of thousands of political prisoners were arbitrarily executed in the span of a few months in 1988 in what has become one of the worst post-World War II instances of crimes against humanity. Yet, instead of seeing the real victims of the Iranian regime, Washington finds itself keenly in tune with the ayatollahs’ 'grievances,'” Gov. Ridge wrote on Friday in TheHill.com
