In recent weeks, the religious fascism ruling Iran has considerably ramped up its criminal dispatch of forces to Syria amassing tens of thousands of its Revolutionary Guards and non-Iranian mercenaries around Aleppo to cruelly slaughter the deprived people of villages, townships and towns in this region in tandem with the brutal bombings of the civilians. Last week, dozens of IRGC commanders and hundreds of mercenaries were killed at the Aleppo front.
Regarding the trip by Hassan Rouhani, the President of the clerical regime, to Italy and France, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, said:
As a mullah, Rouhani is a defender of the ruling theocracy and has sworn allegiance to the velayat-e faqih (absolute rule of the supreme leader). Rouhani has been among the most senior officials of the religious fascism ruling Iran throughout the past 37 years and has been involved in all its atrocities. He should face justice for crimes against humanity.
His claim to moderation is a big lie meant to attract the West’s assistance in pursuing his mandate to save the crisis-riddled regime, which the overwhelming majority of Iranians seek to overthrow. Yet, he is uninterested and incapable of distancing himself, in practice or in words, from the wave of executions in Iran and Bashar al-Assad's massacre of the Syrian people. That explains why he has expressed unequivocal and explicit support for executions and for Bashar al-Assad.
This reality can be noticed from his record as president, which includes some 2200 executions (the highest number in the past 25 years), all out support for the Assad dictatorship and the slaughter of the Syrian people, the missile attack against Camp Liberty residents, and the official order for the expansion of the ballistic missile program of the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC), which is tantamount to proliferation of WMD.
During his tenure, suppression and executions of Sunni Muslims and Christians have been stepped up, and in spite of all his promises Iran’s economic situation has deteriorated since he has committed himself to pay for the expenditure of the wars of the IRGC and the regime’s para-military forces in Syria, Yemen, and Iraq.
His record proves the baseless and absurd nature of the myth of “moderation” in the clerical regime.
Rolling out the red carpet for Rouhani by European governments is to welcome the godfather of terrorism and fundamentalism, to strengthen the regime as a whole and its most repressive factions, and is to the detriment of human rights in Iran.
Welcoming Rouhani will only embolden this regime in the torture and execution of the Iranian people, further warmongering in the region, especially in Syria, and export of Islamic extremism and terrorism.
Relations with the Iranian regime should be contingent upon a halt to executions and an improvement of human rights in Iran. This is the will of the Iranian people and an imperative for peace and fighting terrorism in the region and the world.

I wish that 2016 would be a year of unity and victory over Islamic extremism and especially the religious fascism ruling Iran and its evil allies in the Middle East who sow the seeds of enmity in the world.
We remember Jesus Christ when he said: “Love one another just as I love you”.
Also in the Quran, God says about Mohammad: “We sent thee as a Mercy for all mankind”.
This is the message of all divine religions and therefore, the coincidence of the two births, is a feast of brotherhood among all nations.
Fortunate are those who have found the essence of Christianity and Islam in love, compassion and freedom.
And we salute Virgin Mary, the symbol of love and sacrifice who is described in the Bible as “loved by God”.
The birth and emergence of every prophet mark a new birth for mankind in social life.
When our world is under the attack of terror and extremism, we can find the light of freedom and tolerance and perseverance against fundamentalism and extremism in these births.
Muslims and Christians can rely on their common values to stand up to those who pervert their religions
So, in contrast to what the extremists want, we should make our hope and faith in humanity deeper than ever.
Let us hope for a swift end to extremism and for the freedom of the people of Syria from dictatorships of Bashar Assad, Khamenei and Daesh terrorists.
Let us hope for end to displacement and homelessness of Christians throughout the Middle East.
And let us hope for the relief of Christian converts in Iran from the oppression of ruling mullahs and for freedom of the whole Iranian nation from this religious dictatorship.
On this occasion, I call on the world community to form an international front against the religious dictatorship in Iran and its proxies and militia in Syria and Iraq and to fight Islamic extremism, the enemy of true Muslims, Christians and all followers of other divine religions.

Maryam Rajavi opened the meeting by paying tribute to the memories of departed NCRI members Mansour Ghadarkhah, artist, and Hossein Abrishamchi, a National Liberation Army commander slain in the latest rocket attack on Camp Liberty.
She noted: This session is held at a time when major conflicts and developments in Iran, the region and the world,
bespeak of the dawn of a new era and a new phase in the international confrontation with terrorism and fundamentalism under the name of Islam with the religious dictatorship in Iran as its epicenter.
The two-day agenda of the interim session of the National Council of Resistance of Iran included in-depth discussions on rapid developments on the international level after the terrorist attacks by DAESH in Paris on November 13, 2015; regional developments and the heavy setbacks dealt to Khamenei's interventionist policy in the region particularly in Syria and Yemen; the consequences of JCPOA, the latest report by IAEA Director General and the resolution adopted by IAEA Governing Council; the Iranian regime’s acute economic crises coupled with a plunge in the price of oil; social and political protests across the country; as well as the regime’s election crisis and its aggravating internal conflicts.
On behalf of the Iranian people, the NCRI session also strongly condemned the Iranian regime's alliance with the terrorist crimes of DAESH in Paris as well as Khamenei's complicity with Bashar Assad in the murder of 300,000 people of Syria and displacement of millions of others, describing them as the main cause for the inception and expansion of DAESH.
The NCRI session welcomed the recent formation of an anti-terrorist coalition of Islamic countries led by Saudi Arabia also supported by the Al-Az'har society which is the supreme religious authority for Sunni Muslims, and Mrs. Rajavi extended her congratulations on the formation of this coalition.
Other discussions in the session included the P5+1 nuclear agreement with the Iranian regime, the depth and scale of the regime’s irremediable economic crisis, the regime's factional feuding over the upcoming election sham for the mullahs’ parliament and Assembly of Experts, continuation and expansion of social protests by various businesses and syndicates, especially the struggle of families of political prisoners against torture, death sentences and mistreatment as well as the heroic resistance put up in the depths of prisons and the apical resistance and steadfastness of freedom fighters in Camp Liberty.
I offer my greetings and extend my gratitude for your attention to the issue of Iran and the Iranian people’s resistance movement.

It is inspiring to see a significant group of distinguished personalities demonstrating admirable realism, believing that the solution to the vital crisis in the Middle East is to confront Islamic extremism, especially the religious dictatorship ruling Iran as the epicenter of fundamentalism and terrorism, and also to stand with the struggle of the Iranian people and the Iranian Resistance.
This Resistance is committed to liberate Iran from tyranny and barbarism, to restore that nation’s great civilization, to cultivate peace and coexistence, and to end the reign of fear and terror under the name of Islam.
Our world, from Asia, the Middle East and Africa to France, Belgium, Denmark and the United States, has been targeted by a common enemy: extremism under the name of Islam.
Its followers may have different faces – Shiite or Sunni – yet their ideological pillars and their plan of action are essentially one and the same.
Moreover, all of them, from inception to expansion, have relied on the fundamentalist regime ruling Iran.
Without the fundamentalist regime in Iran, the idea of an Islamic Caliphate, or the desire to erase national borders or the massacres under the banner of Jihad would not have existed or happened.
The horrific acts perpetrated by the likes of DAESH or Boko Haram today are all inspired by the mullahs of Iran, who have carried out the same type of crimes against the Iranian people for decades.
The regime is carrying out the same sort of atrocities through its terrorist Qods Force, Hezbollah and so-called Shiite militias in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Yemen.
The mindset that motivated Khomeini’s fatwa calling for the death of Salman Rushdie (in the 1980s) is the same outlook that led to the massacre at Charlie Hebdo in Paris.
The mindset that motivated Khomeini’s fatwa to murder 30,000 Iranian political prisoners (in 1988) also inspired the cleansing of Sunnis in Iraq and the slaughter of people in Paris and health workers in California recently.
This is the same evil spirit that led to assaults on female political prisoners in Iran or Yazidi women in Iraq.
But beyond its ideological impact, let’s consider its practical policies.
If it were not for the massacre of the people in Syria by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), which is working to keep Assad in power, Syria would not have become the breeding ground for DAESH.
If it were not for the harmful meddling of the mullahs and the horrific suppression carried out by the Iranian regime’s puppet in Iraq, former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, DAESH would not have found the opportunity to occupy swathes of that country’s territory.
The formation of the US-led international coalition in 2014 to confront DAESH was a positive step. But the coalition’s strategy lacked a decisive policy vis-à-vis the mullahs’ regime in Iran, which is the source of the regional crisis.
Destroying DAESH depends on ousting Assad in Syria and on evicting the Iranian regime and its affiliated militias from Iraq.
Despite some differences with Assad and the clerical regime in Iran, DAESH is, in practice, on their side. The prime targets of DAESH have been moderate Syrian forces.
Let me be clear, the ultimate solution to fundamentalism, extremism and terrorism under the name of Islam is the overthrow of the religious fascism ruling Iran at the hands of the Iranian people and Resistance.
For this reason, the mullahs spare no opportunity to commit crimes meant to destroy this Resistance, including missile attacks on its defenseless members in Camp Liberty in Iraq. This is because the mullahs view the Iranian Resistance as an existential threat.
Allow me here to express my gratitude for the decisive positions adopted by Senators McCain, Schumer, Menendez, Blunt, Shaheen and Tillis in condemning the recent missile attack against Liberty.
On behalf of the Iranian people and the residents of Camp Liberty, I would of course like to especially thank Senator McCain and Senator Jack Reed for their initiative concerning the residents of Liberty, which became part of the 2016 National Defense Authorization Act.
Today, the residents of Camp Liberty are in an extremely vulnerable and risky situation and they remain under siege.
The United States had made a commitment to protect them officially and in writing, but it has failed to uphold that commitment.
On October 29, 24 residents lost their lives in the missile attack that was directed by the mullahs.
To date, a total of 141 innocent refugees have been killed in seven attacks and 27 have lost their lives as a result of the inhumane siege.
I call upon lawmakers to urge the U.S. government to put Camp Liberty under the aerial protection of the U.S. Air Force.
The prevention of another humanitarian catastrophe at Camp Liberty and providing protection for the Iranian freedom fighters transcends the interests of the Iranian people alone.
Such measures are vital to confronting the evil of Islamic fundamentalism orchestrated by the mullahs of Iran, who in order to prevent their overthrow in Iran, are setting the whole region on fire.
The overthrow of the mullahs in Iran will guarantee peace and security in the region and the world.

Assad’s continued rule translates into further displacement of the Syrian nation, the influx of millions more refugees to Europe and provides a safe haven for Daesh.
Two parties will be seriously hurt by Bashar Assad’s ouster: One is Daesh which would lose its breeding grounds. The other are the mullahs whose regional front would crumble and disintegrate.
Some people suggest that to eliminate Daesh, we should cooperate with Assad. It is foolhardy to join forces with the murderer of 300,000 Syrians to combat Daesh. For the very existence of Daesh from day one has depended on Bashar Assad and the Iranian regime.
A few days ago, the US Secretary of State said that Bashar Assad and Nouri al-Maliki deliberately released 2,500 extremist prisoners who joined forces to form Daesh.
The solution is to counter Islamic fundamentalism at its roots, in addition to the police, military and intelligence activities.
Today this crisis presents itself in the form of extremist groups such as ISIS.
In reality, the main hub for the growth of ISIS has been in Syria. There is much evidence to show that the regime of Bashar al-Assad has had an active role in creating ISIS, and Syrian intelligence agencies were deliberately behind the group’s growth.
It should now also be clear that an end to Assad’s rule is a prerequisite to permanently defeating ISIS. The idea that ISIS can be defeated while Assad remains in power in the current circumstances in Syria is illusionary. So the question arises: What factor has thus far kept Assad in power, exacerbated the crisis in Syria and created the conditions and the breeding ground for ISIS? TO follow click here
• All forms of engagement with Iranian regime must be made contingent upon termination of the death penalty. As long as the wave of executions continues in Iran, shaking hands with the mullahs is not justified in any way.
• Supporting Assad and his continued rule help ISIS survive; eviction of the Iranian regime is the only way to overcome ISIS.
In an international conference in Paris on the occasion of October 10th, the World Day Against the Death Penalty, the Iranian Resistance's President-elect Maryam Rajavi declared: Our plan is an Iran without the death penalty and obliterating the mullahs' religious decrees.
She emphasized: Torture and executions must be stopped; this is the demand of all of Iran's people. To the governments of the West we say: Set aside your silence and inaction over the executions and atrocities of the mullahs’ religious fascism and instead, respect the Iranian people’s resistance for freedom. If Western governments had stood up to the abuse of human rights in Iran, the mullahs could never expand their barbarity to Syria and Iraq.
Mrs. Rajavi warned: Any form of relations and engagement with the Iranian regime must be made contingent upon termination of executions in Iran. As long as this sinister trend is in progress, it is not justifiable to shake hands with leaders of a regime that has carried out 120,000 political executions.
Emphasizing that the whole world must stand up to the ruthless massacre of the people of Syria, Mrs. Rajavi reiterated: Some people misleadingly argue that the fall of the Syrian regime will open the gates of Damascus on ISIS, yet this is an argument manufactured by Iran’s ruling mullahs in a bid to save their puppet regime. On the contrary, it is supporting Assad and his continued rule that help ISIS continue to survive and expand. By the same logic, the only way to overcome the ISIS is to evict the Iranian regime from Syria and Iraq and topple Assad.
