Sedigheh Moradi has been kept in jail for four years now and has never been given any medical leave. She is now suffering from various illnesses caused due to her detention.
Iran: ill prisoner without any treatment for 4 years"From 2015 onward she has been in prison and not been allowed to make any phone calls or given any leave from prison," her husband said about her dire conditions.Moradi was arrested on May 1, 2011 and transferred directly to ward 209 of Tehran's notorious Evin Prison. She was sentenced to 10 years prison on charges of 'moharebeh' (enmity against God) and also to be exiled in Gohardasht Prison of Karaj, west of Tehran.
