NCRI – On the eve of the International Human Rights Day, the Iranian regime’s henchmen hanged a young man, aged 21, in public in Fars Province in southern Iran.
The public hanging was carried out early morning at the archaeological site known as Noorabad Tal (Noorabad hill) in Noorabad Mamasani County in Fars Province at the presence of officials of the Iranian regime’s judiciary and State Security Forces. See more

Parvaneh was originally from Fouman, but she was a teacher at a school in Tehran. She was known for her bravery and courage amongst all her friends.
She was an active member of the opposition to the regime. Her house was raided by the Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) in 1980, where she managed to escape by venturing out through the window of the second floor of her building.
The last time she was arrested, she was with her husband on the street. She was pushed into a car and while they were being taken away, she opened the car door and pushed her husband out. He managed to escape; hence the Iranian regime’s agents and torturers had a particular vengeance towards her.
Despite all, Parvaneh never gave out any information in her interrogations. She had been beaten to a point that there was not a single intact spot on her body. Her feet were constantly bleeding and discharging infection due to all the strikes of cables she received. They would stump on her feet with pointy shoes. One of her cellmates recalls her explaining, “They forced me to drink more than 10 cups of water each time I was under interrogation so that they could continue to torture me for a longer period.” Parvaneh endured all the torture and pain with pride.
Once, when her torturer was fed-up, he stopped torturing her and said, “You are as strong as a rock.” From then on Parvaneh became known as “Alvand Kooh (Mountain)”. (Kooh is mountain in Farsi; Alvand is the name of a mountain in Iran.) She used to repeatedly say, “We must strive and keep our spirits high so that the guards will fear us.”
One day she said, “My only wish is that they hang me in Rasht’s central square (Shahrdari Square).” I asked her why she wishes such a thing. She replied, “I would not like to be shot to death. I want to be able to pass through the crowd for one last time in my life and tell the people of Khomeini’s treasons and crimes against humanity.”
She was eventually transferred from Evin prison to Roodbar in Ghazvin and finally to Rasht where she was executed in May of 1983.

NCRI - On Thursday, December 3, 2015, Ms. Mehri Jannatpour, a long-time supporter of the Iranian opposition group the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) [Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK)], passed away in Iran. She actively supported the MEK for over four decades, enduring prison terms at Evin prison on three occasions after the 1979 revolution for her political views. Although she underwent brutal torture by the clerical regime, she continued to support the organization, and never submitted to the regime's pressures. Two of her children are with the MEK, one of them at Camp Liberty, Iraq.
A funeral service was held for Mrs. Jannatpour on Saturday December 5 in Tehran. Dr. Mohammad Maleki, the first post-revolution Chancellor of Tehran University, spoke at the event and praised the late Mrs. Jannatpour for her support of the MEK. Below are excerpts of Dr. Maleki's remarks:
Mrs. Homa Dashti, mother of martyred Mojaheds Hood and Fariba Dashti, passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at the age of 79.
Mrs. Dashti always supported the opposition PMOI movement since the mullahs took power in Iran and aided her combatant children in all stages of struggle against this regime.
Her son Hood Dashti was executed in February 1981 and her daughter Fariba Dashti was executed during the massacre of 30,000 political prisoners in 1988.
Mrs. Dashti also lost two of her nephews, her niece and her son-in-law under the clerical regime. She was arrested and imprisoned several times but never gave in to the intimidations and harassments by the regime and was always supportive of the movement.
The Iranian Resistance's President-elect,extended her condolences on Mrs. Dashti's demise and described her as an example of resistance of Iranian mothers in standing up to the ruling religious tyranny.
Mrs. Jannatpoor was an opponent of the Shah and mullahs' dictatorship in Iran for more than four
decades.
Her son was a political prisoner under the Shah's regime and her three children are presently in Camp Liberty.
She was a courageous woman who actively supported the main Iranian opposition force, the PMOI, and on many occasions put her own life on line to protect the lives of its members and cover up for them. And she did not ever hesitate to be arrested and imprisoned for doing so. She was arrested and imprisoned a number of times for aiding the PMOI in their struggle for Iran's freedom.
Mrs. Jannatpoor did whatever she could to the last moment of her life to support the movement and the regime's constant intimidation's and threats could not break her resolve.
In a message on the demise of Mrs. Jannatpoor, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi said her faith and steadfastness in struggle against the ruling mullahs will always remain in the memory of her nation and Iranian women and girls will follow in her footsteps. Courageous women like her, who struggle against the mullahs’ religious fascism despite numerous restrictions, are the pride and honor of the people of Iran and especially Iranian women.
On Friday, November 27, Mr. Mohammad Hamadi, a 35-year-old political prisoner and father of a child, suspiciously lost his life in prison in Ahwaz after languishing seven years in prison. This Arab Ahwazi compatriot was in complete health. According to eye witnesses he was already dead when transferred to Molla Sani Infirmary near Ahwaz that is controlled by the revolutionary guards. The Iranian regime announced that this political prisoner had died of a brain stroke.
Quoting from Hammadi relatives, Karim said that the body of the prisoner now is held in the hospital morgue in Ahwaz and their anguished families are about to receive the body of their son.
One of the medical staff of Shiban clinic in response to the families of the prisoners said that Mohammad had died before reaching the clinic. After transferring the body of Mohammed Hamadi to Hospital,
one of his relatives after observing the dead body, claimed that he found choking bruises on his neck.
Prison terms of Mohammad Hammadi were mostly served in infamous Sepidar prison, but few months ago he was transferred to another prison between Weiss and Molasani divisions, 25 km away of Ahwaz city, known as Shiban prison (vocational training centers in Ahwaz).
One of Mohammad's relative said that he had enjoyed good health and did not suffer from any physical illness but on Friday morning the family of Mohammad received phone contact from prison authorities informing them the situation of their son is deteriorating and to visit Mohammad they can come to Molasani clinic.
The family of Mohammad Hammadi visited the clinic Mollasani, which is affiliated to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, where surprisingly they were told that their son had died due to stroke.
Murdering and Execution Are The Iran's Last Resort To Liquidating Ahwazi Prisoners. The death of the political activist of Ahwaz "Mohammed Odeh Hammadi" coincides with the days of the death of the great poet of Ahwaz, Star Sayahi (Abu Srour) who was killed in jail. Iranian security authorities resorted to using such methods to get rid of a lot of Ahwazi political activists, in particular of whom Ghaban Abideaua and Mohammed Cheldawi and others, some of whom under torture and some of them under mysterious and suspicious circumstances. see more
On Monday, November 23, agents of the Iranian regime’s Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) brutally attacked families of martyrs and political prisoners in Tehran’s Vanak Square arresting a number of them and transferring them undisclosed location.

Ms. Seamin Ayvaz-zadeh, 56, mother of political prisoner Omid Ali Shenas, who was arrested on November 21 and transferred with Laila pour Ghaffari and Shervin Yamani to Qerchak Prison in Varamin is currently on hunger strike. She suffers of high blood pressure and arrhythmia. see more

IRAN: Guards raid Ward 12 of Gohardasht Prison today
NCRI - Wardens of Iran’s notorious Gohardasht (Rajai-shahr) Prison, in Karaj, north-west of Tehran, raided Ward 12 at 13:00 local time on Monday, according to news sources inside of Iran.
The ward houses political prisoners opposed to the mullahs’ regime.
During the raid, the wardens conducted body searches of the prisoners and used devices to search the whole ward.
IRAN: Snap inspection of political prisoner’s ward in Gohardasht
NCRI - On Sunday, November 1, at 4 pm local time, Iranian regime elements, including the chief of inspections and chief warden of Gohardasht (Rajai Shahr) Prison, without prior notice entered Hall 12, Ward 4 of the prison which is allocated to political prisoners.
They inspected every room in the ward, but could not find anything as the defenseless prisoners had nothing on them. See more

Hejrat left Iran in early 2008 and currently resides in Camp Liberty, Iraq, home to thousands of members of the main Iranian opposition group People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI, or MEK). After I learned about the PMOI, my path in life was drastically changed. The suffering of people concerned me and fighting this criminal regime and ending this suffering became my goal.

Dissidents warn human rights in Iran worse under Rouhani - POLITICO
An Iranian dissident who fled his country after being imprisoned in Tehran for five years said in an interview Saturday with POLITICO that conditions for prisoners had worsened and human rights violations continued after the regime’s President Hassan Rouhani came to power.
Farzad Madadzadeh, a 29-year-old opposition activist, was arrested for political activities in February 2009 under the regime’s former President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. He said that after Rouhani came to power in 2013, more political prisoners had been jailed, conditions in prison worsened and the number of executions rose dramatically as the new regime sought to stave off the risk of a popular uprising fueled by increased access to outside information.
His interview with POLITICO comes three months after Western powers agreed to lift economic sanctions against Tehran progressively in exchange for its promise to limit nuclear activities. However, sanctions for human rights violations and support of terrorism remain in place, and evidence that Iran’s record on either front is worsening could impede a full normalization of ties with the West, and raise criticism of the nuclear deal.
“When Rouhani was elected all furloughs for jailed former officials of the regime were canceled,” said Madadzadeh, a member of the PMOI opposition group active inside Iran and among exiles in many countries. “Access to medical treatment outside of prison was called off completely. More people like teachers were arrested and imprisoned merely for demanding access to their welfare rights.”
Daily Mail: Electrocution, rape and drug-induced confessions in Iran prison
Blindfolded with his hands in cuffs, Farzad Madadzadeh would be beaten for up to 16 hours a day in an Iranian prison, the MailOnline wrote on Saturday. “He was electrocuted and punched by three guards who threw him around like a 'football', before returning him to a tiny solitary confinement cell.
Each night for five years he would fall asleep wondering if death would come for him in the morning, or whether yet another day of torture and questioning was in store. His only crime? Speaking out against Iran's regime.”
'You are subjected to all kinds of torture - psychological and physical,' he told MailOnline. 'Constant interrogation, constant beating around the clock.
'Any moment you wait for something to happen - a new torture session or a death sentence.
'You are totally isolated from the rest of the world. The only voice you hear is the voice of death.'
He claims guards would bring drugs including heroin into the prison to encourage addiction, making it easier for interrogators to 'crack' prisoners suffering from withdrawal symptoms
NCRI - As the schools are about to open, a large number of teachers in the country continue to linger in prison, including Messrs Mahmoud Beheshti Langeroudi, Mehdi Bohlouli and Reza Neiknejad who are recently arrested, as well as Messrs Rasoul Bodaqi, Esmail Abdi, Ali-Akbar Baghbani, Alireza Hashemi and Abdolreza Qanbari who were already in prison. This is while Ali-Asghar Fani, Rouhani’s Education Minister, deceptively expressed hope on September 15 that the imprisoned teachers would be released before September 23, the day that schools open.
