Iran’s natural environment destroyed under mullah regime
Iranian regime officials now openly admit that if this situation continues to go on for some time, 70 per cent of the Iranian population will have to emigrate because of the drought in not a distant future.
Such catastrophes are byproducts of the clerical regime’s antinationalist policies. Unrestrained corruption, profiteering and embezzlement by the regime’s officials and Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) have wasted the country’s assets in nuclear projects and in export of terrorism and fundamentalism.
In addition to mobilization of all economic and industrial resources, it is necessary to shut down the Iranian regime’s antinationalist projects including its nuclear project as well as export of terrorism and fundamentalism to resolve the crisis. The exorbitant expenditures in such projects should be allocated to reconstruction and restoration of water sources.
The clerical regime, however, has brought about only poverty, death and destruction of Iranian people’s national wealth. As long as it is in power, it will continue to carry on its damaging policies and the tragedy of environmental destruction would be further deepened and aggravated.
The first step to save the country from this crisis is the overthrow of the ruling religious fascism and establishment of democracy and popular sovereignty.
